Michael Charokopos is a visiting lecturer at the University of Piraeus, Department of International and European Studies – Master’s Program on Energy, and an economic diplomat at the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He studied History and International Relations at LSE and the University of Athens where he completed his PhD. His research interests include EU external relations, economic diplomacy, FPA and sociological institutionalism. His recent work focuses on EU external energy relations through the lens of sociological institutionalism.
