The Energy & Environmental Policy Laboratory contributes to energy and environmental regulation, taking advantage the Legal and International studies background of several of its staff. More specifically, its staff participate in public consultations on issues related to the liberalization of energy and environmental markets, provide assessments for primary or secondary legislation and contribute to the development of technical codes such as the Power Exchange, Transmission, Network and Suppliers Codes that concern the operation of gas and electricity markets.
