Vassilios Sitaras (LL.M. in Jurisprudence, M.A. in South East European Studies and Ph.D. in International Relations from the National University of Athens, as well as Post-Doc in Energy Security from the University of Peloponnesus in Corinth) is a public policy-maker with precious experience as Deputy Director for Energy Diplomacy in the Hellenic MFA (up to 2014) and as Energy & Economic Counsellor in Baku (since 2014). A regular contributor to Foreign Affairs (Hellenic Edition), mainly on energy politics, he also teaches European Union Energy Policy at the Diplomatic Academy of Azerbaijan.
